RESCISSION OF RESOLUTION NOS. 2024216 AND 2025159

BUDGET, FINANCE & PERSONNEL RESOLUTION NO. 2026075 RE: RESCISSION OF RESOLUTION NOS. 2024216 AND 2025159 Legislators VALDÉS SMITH, MUNN, ALEXANDER, BRENDLI, CASWELL, DARROW, LAWLER, REDL and RHODES offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2024216 entitled "A Resolution Authorizing the County's Share of Certain Preliminary Planning and Design Expenses in Connection With the Center for Business Industry (CBI) Interior Restack and Reprogramming Project of Dutchess Community College, in and for the County of Dutchess, New York, at a Maximum Estimated Cost of $1,975,000, and Authorizing the Issuance of $987,500 Bonds of Said County to Pay a Portion of the Cost Thereof" was approved by this Legislature on December 19, 2024, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2025159 entitled "A Resolution Authorizing Certain County Preliminary Expenses in Connection with the Design for Renovations and Addition to Dutchess Hall at Dutchess Community College, in and for the County of Dutchess, New York, at a Maximum Estimated Cost of $3,219,000, and Authorizing the Issuance of $1,609,500 Bonds of Said County to Pay a Portion of the Cost Thereof' was approved by this Legislature on November 12, 2025, and WHEREAS, each Resolution established a capital project account for the respective projects reflected above, and WHEREAS, no borrowing has occurred pursuant to said bond resolutions, and WHEREAS, following the rescission of Resolution Nos. 2024216 and 2025159, the Dutchess Community College will incorporate these components into one resolution reflecting better transparency, flexibility and tracking of funding, and now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that Resolution Nos. 2024216 and 2025159 are hereby rescinded by this Legislature, that the borrowing and spending authority on such capital projects created thereby are hereby rescinded, and that said capital project accounts associated therewith be closed, and be it further RESOLVED, that Resolution Nos. 2024216 and 2025159 are hereby rescinded.
