APPOINTMENT TO WATER AND WASTEWATER AUTHORITY

EVIRONMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2026084 RE: APPOINTMENT TO WATER AND WASTEWATER AUTHORITY Legislators VALDÉS SMITH, METZGER, DARROW and LAWLER offer the following Resolution and move its immediate adoption: WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the Board of the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, and WHEREAS, Section 1123 of the Public Authorities Law provides that one member of the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority shall be jointly appointed by the County Executive and the Chairman of the County Legislature, subject confirmation by the County Legislature, and WHEREAS, the County Executive and the Chair of the County Legislature have jointly appointed Jennifer Cannella, of Poughkeepsie, New York, as a member of such authority; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Dutchess County Legislature does hereby ratify and confirm the appointment of Jennifer Cannella, of Poughkeepsie, New York, as a member of the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority for an unexpired term effective immediately and continuing December 31, 2029.
