The FAA's ATCT facility is owned and operated by the federal government. A no cost land lease is required, as the
previous 20-year lease expired on 9/30/22. There is great value that the ATCT tower operations brings to
Hudson Valley Regional. This new lease will be retroactive to 10/1/22 and run through 9/30/42.
As required by Local Law #6 of 2015, any on-airport lease over 15 years needs Legislative approval and a Public Hearing
must be conducted prior to this approval.
