CONDOLENCE: NICHOLAS GASPARRE

DUTCHESS COUNTY LEGISLATURE Condolence: Nicholas Gasparre The Dutchess County Legislature offers the following and moves its adoption: WHEREAS, on November 15, 2024, the Dutchess County Legislature learned with great sadness and regret of the recent death of Nicholas Gasparre at the age of 36, and WHEREAS, Nicholas was born on August 22, 1988, in Yonkers, New York, son of Louis and Patricia Gasparre, and WHEREAS, Nicholas began serving his country as a volunteer firefighter for the Beekman Fire District and served in the U.S. Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal during the Global War on Terrorism, WHEREAS, Nicholas also served as Deputy Sheriff with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office since 2017, and WHEREAS, Nicholas married the love of his life, Kellie-Ann, on October 18, 2021, in Boulder, Colorado, and in January 2024, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Adelaide, and WHEREAS, Nicholas was a kindhearted, funny, stubborn, sarcastic, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid golfer, one of The Seven in "The League," and was a part-time comedian who also thought he was an electrician. He will forever be remembered for his love of dinosaurs and his way of just making everything better, and WHEREAS, Nicholas is survived by his parents Louis and Patricia, his wife Kellie-Ann, his daughter Ivan, Natalie, Ava, Eamon, and Piper, and his faithful companion Gustavo, and WHEREAS, Nicholas's passing will be mourned by his family, friends, and colleagues throughout Dutchess County, now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Dutchess County Legislature, on behalf of all the people of Dutchess County, does hereby extend its deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family and friends of the late Nicholas Gasparre, and be it further RESOLVED, that the meeting of the Dutchess County Legislature be adjourned in memory of the late Nicholas Gasparre.
