The DWIB receives Notices of Authority (NOA) from the New York State Department
of Labor (NYSDOL) to provide training and employment services to adults, dislocated
workers and youth who reside in Dutchess County. NOA's either supply additional
funding or rescind expired funding. The attached NOA is supplying additional funding to
Dutchess County.
The DWIB has received confirmation that we are awarded $250,000 for RETI funding.
This funding is from the New York Power Authority (NYPA) State funding for the
Office of Just Energy Transition (OJET) Renewable Energy Training Initiative (RETI).
The money is to be used for training (reskilling and upskilling) and for wraparound
supportive services. The DCWIB applied for the funding and our proposal and budget
has been approved. The NOA will be issued on either November 25 or 26, 2024, as they
are going out in batches from NYSDOL. The award letter will be dated 11/25/2024. The
NOA will be dated 12/1/2024.
