ATTENDANCE AT CONVENTIONS AND CONFERENCES FOR THE YEAR 2025

RE: RESOLUTION NO. 2025001 ATTENDANCE AT CONVENTIONS AND CONFERENCES FOR THE YEAR Legislators TRUITT, HOUSTON, and POLASEK offer the following and move its adoption: RESOLVED, that pursuant to Section 77-b of the General Municipal Law the Clerk and the Deputy Clerk of the County Legislature be and they hereby are authorized to attend the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the New York State Association of Counties and the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the Association of Clerks of the Board of Supervisors, and, be it further RESOLVED, that the members of the Dutchess County Legislature are hereby authorized to attend the official and unofficial conventions and conferences of the Association of Supervisors and County Legislators, the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the New York State Association of Counties, the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the New York State Conference of Mayors and other Municipal Officials, the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the Association of Towns, and the official and unofficial conferences and conventions of the National Association of Counties, and, be it further RESOLVED, that this Legislature does hereby ask members of the County Legislature to notify the Chairman of the County Legislature when attending aforesaid meetings, conferences, and conventions.
