CONDOLENCE: NANCY PATRICIA GIACCONE

DUTCHESS COUNTY LEGISLATURE Condolence: Nancy Patricia Giaccone Resolution No. 2025096 The Dutchess County Legislature offers the following and moves its adoption: death of Nancy Patricia Giaccone, and WHEREAS, on March 23, 2025, the Dutchess County Legislature learned with great sadness and regret of the recent WHEREAS, Nancy was born in 1936 at New York's Presbyterian Hospital, to the late Lemuel Taylor Dill and Grace Agnes Dill, and WHEREAS, Nancy graduated from Malverne High School and continued her education at University of Miami in Miami, Florida and then at Dutchess Community College where she received her associate's degree in Data Processing, and WHEREAS, Nancy married her husband, Leonard F. Giaccone, in 1958, and WHEREAS, Nancy worked at Dutchess Community College for 20 years as the Data Processing Department's Computer Lab Manager, and WHEREAS, Nancy was a member of the Zion Episcopal Church in Wappingers Falls, a member of the Zion Choir and assisted with a Zion program called Young Old Timers, and WHEREAS, Nancy is predeceased by her husband Leonard, and her sister Carol Cronberg, and WHEREAS, Nancy is survived by her children Anthony and Grace, her grandchildren Victoria and Jason, her great- grandchildren Alexander and Thomas, her grand-niece Andrea Aguilar, and her grand-nephew Christopher Cronberg, and WHEREAS, Nancy's passing will be mourned by her family, friends, and colleagues throughout Dutchess County, now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Dutchess County Legislature, on behalf of all the people of Dutchess County, does hereby extend its deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family and friends of the late Nancy Patricia Giaccone, and be it further RESOLVED, that the meeting of the Dutchess County Legislature be adjourned in memory of the late Nancy Patricia Giaccone.
