AMENDING THE 2025 ADOPTED COUNTY BUDGET AS IT PERTAINS TO THE HOUSING TRUST FUND AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT

FAMILY & HUMAN SERVICES RESOLUTION NO. 2025103 RE: AMENDING THE 2025 ADOPTED COUNTY BUDGET AS IT PERTAINS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH Legislators GARITO, HOUSTON, POLASEK, MC HOUL, VERSACI, GORMAN, D'AQUANNI, and LAWLER offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, the Department of Mental Health ("DMH") has advised of outstanding 2024 expenses relating to a contract between the County and the City of Poughkeepsie for Crisis Intervention and BEAT Patrol services totaling $119,909.83, and WHEREAS, in 2024 the contract, originally administered through the Dutchess County Office of Probation and Community Correction, was transitioned to the Department of Behavioral and Community Health ("DBCH"), and WHEREAS, also in 2024 DBCH finalized a structural reorganization resulting in the creation of two distinct departments: DMH and the Department of Health, and WHEREAS, during this reorganization, the outstanding 2024 expenses referenced above were inadvertently unaccounted for and appropriations to support these expenses were not carried forward into the 2025 budget, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the 2025 Adopted County Budget to provide funds to meet the County's contractual and financial obligations for services rendered, now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Finance is authorized, empowered and directed to amend the 2025 Adopted County Budget as follows: APPROPRIATIONS A.3010.4401.105 Prof Services Consultants $119,910 A. 1990.4007 General Contingency ($119,910) CA-068-25 CRC/rjw G-1922 06/12/25 Fiscal Impact: See attached statement APPROVED Susan Serio SUSAN J.
