FAMILY AND HUMAN SERVICES RE: RESOLUTION NO. 2025146 AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF FUNDING UNDER THE TRADE ADJUSTMENT ACT Legislators GARITO, HOUSTON, MC HOUL, D'AQUANNI, GORMAN, CASWELL, and KAUL offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, the United States Congress enacted the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to provide the framework for a unique workforce preparation and employment system designed to meet the needs of businesses and the needs of job seekers and those who want to further their careers, and WHEREAS, the New York State Department of Labor has recently provided Notices of Obligational Authority (NOA) which set forth the allocations to Dutchess County for the operation of: • PY 25 Adult for the period of 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2027; and; • PY 25 Dislocated Worker for the period of 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2027; and; • PY 25 Administration for the period of 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2027; and WHEREAS, PY25 Adult, PY25 Dislocated Worker and PY25 Administration are NOAs, thereby allowing for an extension of the term only without a separate resolution, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Finance be and hereby is authorized, empowered and directed to accept the allocation of funding under the above Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program and amend the following accounts: APPROPRIATIONS Increase CD6292.2025.4841 CD6292.2025.4842 CD6292.2025.4844 REVENUES Increase CD6292.2025.47910.41 Adult CD6292.2025.47910.42 Dislocated Worker Date CD6292.2025.47910.44 Administration Adult Dislocated Worker APPROVED Administration Sue Serio SUSAN J.
