FAMILY AND HUMAN SERVICES RESOLUTION NO. 2025217 RE: AMENDING THE 2025 ADOPTED COUNTY BUDGET AS IT PERTAINS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY & FAMILY SERVICES (A.6055) Legislators GARITO, MC HOUL, GORMAN, CASWELL, and VERSACI offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, the Department of Community and Family Services (hereinafter "DCFS) administers a Childcare program each year which is reimbursed through the New York State Childcare Block Grant, and WHEREAS, DCFS has advised that based upon this increase, the 2025 Childcare program expenses administered through DCFS will exceed the 2025 budget appropriations such that DCFS is requesting appropriations of $1,000,000, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the 2025 Adopted County Budget to provide funds to cover the expenses of this valuable program for Dutchess County residents, now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Finance is authorized, empowered and directed to amend the 2025 Adopted County Budget as follows: APPROPRIATIONS Increase A.6055.4451 Day Care $1,000,000 REVENUES Increase A. 6055.36550.40 Day Care 100% $1,000,000 CA-167-25 VAC/rj G-0198-A 10/30/25 Fiscal Ipact: See Attached APPROVED Sue Dererto SUSAN J.
