APPOINTMENT TO THE DUTCHESS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH

FAMILY AND HUMAN SERVICES RESOLUTION NO. 2026029 RE: APPOINTMENT TO THE DUTCHESS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH Legislators VALDÉS SMITH, ATKINS, CASWELL, MUNN, REDL, RHODES, SHAH and WINSBY offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, a vacancy will exist on the Board of Health due to the resignation of Doug McHoul, and WHEREAS, Lisa Kaul has expressed an interest in being appointed to the Board of Health for the remainder of the term rendered vacant by the resignation of Doug McHoul; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, the Dutchess County Legislature thanks Legislator McHoul for his several years of service on the Board of Health and accepts his resignation effective immediately; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Dutchess County Legislature does hereby appoint Lisa Kaul to the Board of Health, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Doug McHoul, to a term set forth below: RESIGNATION Doug McHoul TERM 01/01/2024 - 12/31/2029 APPOINTMENT Lisa Kaul TERM 02/09/2026 - 12/31/2026 (unfinished term) APPROVED STATE OF NEW YORK ss: COUNTY OF DUTCHESS SUSAN J. Unfortunately, due to meetings beginning at 4pm on Thursdays, it has become challenging for me to maintain regular attendance. I feel that the position would be better served by a Legislator who has more flexibility in his/her schedule. With that said, it has been an honor serve alongside a group of incredible professionals throughout my time on the board. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
