AMENDING THE 2026 ADOPTED COUNTY BUDGET AS IT PERTAINS TO THE DEPARTMENTS OF PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT (A.8020) AND MENTAL HEALTH (A.4320)

FAMILY AND HUMAN SERVICES RESOLUTION NO. 2026018 RE: AMENDING THE 2026 ADOPTED COUNTY BUDGET AS IT PERTAINS TO THE DEPARTMENTS OF PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT (A.8020) AND MENTAL HEALTH (A.4320) Legislators ATKINS, MUNN, ARNOFF, BRENDLI, CASWELL, KAUL, REDL and RHODES offer the following and move its adoption: WHEREAS, the Department of Planning & Development ("Planning") has been allocated funds for the 2026 Agency Partner Grant ('APG") Program, and WHEREAS, the Department of Mental Health ("DMH") oversees the County's programming and services for individuals with disabilities as well as mental health services for youth which are the focus of six of the APG-funded programs, and WHEREAS, Planning desires to transfer $239,160 in APG program funds to DMH programs, and WHEREAS, transferring $239,160 of the APG program funds to DMH will reduce the administrative burden for both the County and the organization by consolidating the administration of a jointly funded program under a single department, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the 2026 Adopted County Budget to move the amount of $239,160 in APG program funds to the DMH budget, now therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Finance is authorized, empowered and directed to amend the 2026 Adopted County Budget as follows: APPROPRIATIONS Decrease A.8020.4413 Competitive Grant Program Increase A.4320.75.4413 Competitive Grant Program ($239,160) $239,160 CA-014-26; LDF/rjw; 01/12/2026; G-0179; Fiscal Impact: See Attached STATE OF NEW YORK SS: COUNTY OF DUTCHESS the original eito crit hal in unders on late of the eichus ad epic Cousio Douches have one red the repring aluin wit the same is a true and correct transcript of said original resolution and of the whole thereof.
